BKM Katy West Tamil School is a non-profit, accredited voluntary-run language school serving the western part of Greater Houston Area. Located in a central place in Katy, it supports the communities of Richmond, Katy and Fulshear to learn the classical language. We started the BKM Tamil School Katy in 2015 with 15 Kids. It has been so successful since.

BKM East Tamil School is a new addition to the BKM Tamil School network, launched in 2025 with 40 students, proudly serving the rapidly growing Tamil community in the Katy East area.

We have a very strong volunteer support, to provide personal attention and plan various activities for the students all through the year which includes cultural activities, annual day, sports day, competitions, annual projects etc. Our main strength is low-student ratio and dedicated teachers.

In addition to the syllabus, we also offer speech sessions that are completely designed by the parent volunteers along with guidance from ITA. We plan activities such as storytelling, role play, games, and Tamil Comic reading sessions, etc., it motivates and increases the confidence of students to start and improve their speech skills.
