Why

BKM family membership is only $105 /year for a family of 4. BKM hosts Tamil school competition one time every year and celebrates Tamil School Annual day in a grand fashion. Every kid will receive a Trophy / medals on successful completion of the Tamil school year.

Spoken Thamizh Coaching

In addition to the syllabus, BKM Tamil Schools offer speech sessions that are designed by the Thamizh language enthusiasts. We plan activities like storytelling, role play, games, Tamil Comic reading sessions etc., that encourages kids to build confidence in speaking the language.

Students who lack in the conversation skill are identified by the teachers and parents. Dedicated sessions are conducted for the selected students. Every location has a dedicated teacher/coach to provide speech training.

Accreditation

Accreditation helps to determine if an institution meets or exceeds minimum standards of quality. All BKM Tamil Schools are accredited by Cognia (formerly AdvancED).

Accreditation helps students and parents to apply for high school credit in their respective ISD.

Library & Thamizh Magazine

Students from BKM Tamil Schools are motivated to author and publish articles via BKM’s Thamizh magazine “ThamizhCharal”. In addition, teachers and parents are encouraged to write stories, share experiences, poems etc., all at NO COST to members and kids.

To practice reading Tamil books other than the syllabus, BKM Tamil Schools established a lending library system in 2019. Comic Books from prominent publications and great children authors were imported from Tamil Nadu and circulated among the students. This has helped the kids to improve on their tamizh language skills significantly.
